About The Position
As an Enrichment Counselor, you’ll create a safe, engaging, and structured daycare experience by:
- Supervising and actively managing dog playgroups
- Leading enrichment activities that promote mental stimulation and healthy play
- Monitoring behavior and body language to prevent overstimulation or conflict
- Using positive reinforcement and redirection techniques
- Communicating observations with supervisors and team members
- Cleaning and maintaining play areas to ensure a safe, sanitary facility
This is an active role requiring energy, awareness, and confidence working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Qualifications
- Experience in animal care (daycare, boarding, shelter, vet, or training preferred)
- Basic understanding of positive reinforcement training
- Ability to guide dogs to respond to cues
- Strong observation skills and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain active throughout the shift
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Schedule
- This is a full-time position working 10 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday
