About the Position
As a Daycare Counselor, you’ll supervise and engage dogs of all sizes and personalities. You’ll monitor behavior, read body language, and help maintain safe, structured group play. This is an active role that involves standing for long periods, bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and cleaning throughout the day—including handling pet messes. Teamwork is essential, as you’ll collaborate closely with coworkers to ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for every guest.
Qualifications
- Experience in pet care, daycare, boarding, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift 50+ pounds
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Calm under pressure and confident in high-energy settings
- Reliable, honest, and a strong communicator
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Schedule
This position will work a variety of shifts, falling between the hours of 7 am and 11 pm.
