About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, compassionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team. This role focuses primarily on in-home cat care visits with occasional dog walking.
If you enjoy staying active, working independently, and building meaningful relationships with pets and clients, this could be a great fit.
Core Responsibilities
- In-home cat sitting visits
- Occasional dog walking (all sizes and breeds)
- Administering non-injection medications
- Feeding, fresh water, and litter box care
- Providing enrichment, exercise, and affection
- Sending detailed updates and photos to clients
- Ensuring pets’ safety and well-being at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Reliability and punctuality
- A genuine love for animals
- Comfort working independently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to walk multiple dogs in various weather conditions
- Experience is a plus, but not required — we provide paid training.
Helpful (but not required): dog handling experience, animal behavior knowledge, customer service background, or Fear Free certification.
Schedule
- Availability from 9 am to 5 pm is required on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- We would strongly prefer a candidate who can work a fifth day (from TUE-THU).
- 15–25 hours per week
- Opportunity to increase visits and hours over time
What We Offer
- $20–$25 per hour (including tips and travel compensation)
- Estimated $1,300–$1,700 per month initially
- Paid training.
- Earnings can grow with additional visits
