About This Role
We are hiring an experienced dog daycare / kennel professional for a leadership role at Pooch Palace.
We’re a fast-paced, cage-free dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility—but more importantly, we’re a tight-knit group that genuinely enjoys what we do and the dogs we care for every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside our management team, lead shifts, support staff, and help keep everything running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading daily operations on the floor (daycare, boarding, front desk flow)
- Supporting and guiding staff during shifts
- Keeping a safe, structured, and fun environment for all dogs
- Helping with customer interactions and ensuring a great experience
- Jumping in wherever needed—this is a hands-on role
- Keeping things clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Working closely with management to keep everything on track
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 1 year hands-on experience working with dogs (daycare, boarding, vet, kennel, grooming, etc.)
- Previous leadership experience (shift lead, supervisor, manager, etc.)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to stay calm and confident in a busy environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Weekend and holiday availability (we are open 365 days/year)

Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$25/hour based on experience +Tips +bath commission
- 35–40 hours per week
- 1 week paid vacation after 6 months
- 2 weeks paid vacation after 2 years
Important
This is a physically active, fast-paced job. You’ll be on your feet, moving, cleaning, and working directly with dogs and staff throughout your shift.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + Tips
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
