Job Duties:
- As the Kennel Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our resort.
- The safety of staff and client pets will be your number one priority.
- You will also ensure that every dog receives top-tier care in an environment with patience and empathy.
- Your responsibilities include onboarding, coaching, and supervising staff.
- Client services will include managing reservations and updating clients of new products, services, and promotions.
- The resort must be maintained and sanitized at regular intervals.
- Coordinating dog activities, overseeing feeding, administering medications as needed, and monitoring each pet’s health and behavior
- You’ll also handle client communications, answer questions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Other duties involve inventory management and assisting the owner with large-scale projects.
- Your leadership will help foster a positive, team-oriented workplace and uphold Fetch Dog Resort’s standards of care.
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate is a passionate animal lover with previous experience in pet care, preferably in a kennel, shelter, or pet resort setting.
- Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask are essential.
- You should be dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive in addressing pet and client needs.
- Knowledge of basic pet first aid and behavior management is a plus.
- A positive attitude, patience, and genuine love for dogs are crucial traits.
- This role requires physical stamina, as well as the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Certification in animal care or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
- We need a manager who is an independent critical thinker, but also someone who can follow established workflows.
