Job description:

Puppy Trainer

Do you enjoy explaining to a Golden Retriever puppy why eating mulch isn’t a life goal?
If you’ve ever celebrated a puppy for sitting instead of body-slamming a stranger…
If you’ve ever convinced a tiny land shark that human ankles are not chew toys…
If you’ve ever looked at a puppy and thought, “You’re lucky you’re cute”…

Fetch Dog Resort is looking for a Puppy Trainer who can help turn adorable chaos into confident, well-mannered dogs.
Before you panic, we’re not looking for someone who expects puppies to be perfect. Quite the opposite. We love puppies because they’re curious, enthusiastic, sometimes wildly dramatic, and occasionally convinced that leaves are dangerous.
We’re looking for someone who understands that great training isn’t about control. It’s about building confidence, creating positive experiences, and helping puppies learn how to navigate the world successfully.

What Makes Fetch Different?

We’re not a high-volume facility where dogs simply run around until they’re exhausted.
We’re an enrichment-based environment focused on helping dogs thrive physically, mentally, and socially.
Every puppy who comes through our doors is an individual. Some arrive ready to make friends with everyone. Others need a little encouragement before they feel comfortable. We believe both deserve patience, support, and a plan.

Our goal is simple:

What You’ll Be Doing

You’re Probably a Great Fit If…

Bonus Points If…

You’ve ever had a puppy proudly bring you a leaf as if they personally discovered it.
You’ve had an entire lesson derailed by a squirrel.
You’ve celebrated a puppy choosing not to jump on someone like they just graduated college.
You understand that “leave it” is sometimes a lifestyle, not a cue.

Why Work at Fetch?

Because every day you get to make a real difference.
You’ll help nervous puppies find confidence. You’ll help families build stronger relationships with their dogs. You’ll work alongside a team that genuinely cares about enrichment, education, and creating the best experience possible for every dog that walks through our doors.
And yes, you’ll probably have puppy treats and potty bags in your pockets at all times.
Ready to Apply?
Tell us about your training experience, your favorite puppy success story, and the funniest thing a puppy has ever taught you.
We can’t wait to meet you.
