Job Duties:

As the Kennel Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our resort.
The safety of staff and client pets will be your number one priority.
You will also ensure that every dog receives top-tier care in an environment with patience and empathy.
Your responsibilities include onboarding, coaching, and supervising staff.
Client services will include managing reservations and updating clients of new products, services, and promotions.
The resort must be maintained and sanitized at regular intervals.
Coordinating dog activities, overseeing feeding, administering medications as needed, and monitoring each pet’s health and behavior
You’ll also handle client communications, answer questions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Other duties involve inventory management and assisting the owner with large-scale projects.
Your leadership will help foster a positive, team-oriented workplace and uphold Fetch Dog Resort’s standards of care.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a passionate animal lover with previous experience in pet care, preferably in a kennel, shelter, or pet resort setting.
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask are essential.
You should be dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive in addressing pet and client needs.
Knowledge of basic pet first aid and behavior management is a plus.
A positive attitude, patience, and genuine love for dogs are crucial traits.
This role requires physical stamina, as well as the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Certification in animal care or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
We need a manager who is an independent critical thinker, but also someone who can follow established workflows.
