Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking passionate individuals to join our team who are eager to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Ideal candidates will demonstrate compassion, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow within the pet care industry. A reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to long-term employment (one year or more) are essential.
We are hiring for two roles in the Alexandria area:
Monday - Friday from 9am to 4pm* (18-25hrs weekly)
or
Weekday evenings from 5pm to 11:30pm and Weekends from 7am to 11:30pm*
*You would not be working the entirety of these periods. The role is designed to be part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regular in-home visits, ensuring pets' safety and well-being
- Facilitate exercise and mental stimulation for pets
- Properly clean and dispose of pet waste
- Ensure dogs are leashed and secure during walks
- Follow specific care instructions and report any pet health concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
What we offer:
- Competitive pay starts at $18 to $24 per hour (depending on services performed, client gratuity, and bonuses)
- Monthly earnings range from $400 to $1800, depending on shifts worked and client demand.
- Pay is per pet-care visit performed.
