Position Overview:

We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Retail Manager to join our team. If you are an enthusiastic leader with a strong foundation in retail management, a fondness for animals, and a commitment to outstanding customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer and pet-friendly experience.
Oversee staff management, including hiring, training, and scheduling to meet daily operational needs and uphold our customer care standards.
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels.
Foster a welcoming environment for pet owners and pets, maintaining a clean, organized, and friendly store atmosphere.
Implement and manage efficient processes using the Shopify POS system; prior experience preferred.
Drive sales through active engagement with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products.
Develop and execute strategies to meet sales goals and improve store performance, while supporting company's core values.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, particularly in health and wellness products, to ensure Queenies Pets remains a leader in pet care solutions.
Collaborate with the team to craft promotional events and community engagement activities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in pet retail, grocery business, or a related field is highly preferred.
Proficient with Shopify POS or similar retail systems; candidates with prior experience in Shopify will be given preference.
Strong knowledge of inventory and staff management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
A genuine passion for pet care and an understanding of the importance of a force-free, fear-free, stress-free, and pain-free approach.
Flexibility to work weekends as necessary in alignment with business needs.

Work Schedule/Location:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekend availability as required.

What we offer:

$53000-$62000 annual compensation depending on experience.
