Who you are:
- We require all training staff to have at least three years of documented, professional dog training experience, including work with obedience and behavioral cases.
- You must be prepared to handle handle behavior cases.
- You should be able to step in immediately with our structured onboarding process.
- You must have professional experience working with clients one-on-one, be comfortable assessing difficult cases, and devise practical solutions for the dog and the client.
- You can professionally and confidently convey the science of dog training to dog owners with little to no knowledge of dog behavior.
Responsibilities:
Private Dog Training Lessons
- Conduct between 1-5, 60-minute in-person lessons per day.
- Training sessions are performed at the client's home.
- Execute the training plan determined by our Head Trainer for each dog.
- Effectively teach your clients how to train their dogs in basic/advanced obedience.
- If present, work with each dog's behavioral issues.
- Provide notes/updates for each lesson
- Send homework files/videos after each lesson
- Work with our CRM regularly.
- New trainers will be in an evaluation/training phase where you will go through the Command Canine protocols and work with the Head Trainer to ensure your training skills align with our expectations. The length of the onboarding phase will depend upon experience.
What we offer:
$65 per 60-minute lesson (most staff will perform 1-5 sessions daily).
$1300 - $6500 monthly (based on client demand and availability).
