Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the onboarding process with Command Canine.
- Board and Train between 1-3 dogs at a time (Based on client demand and your availability. Dogs will reside at your home during the entirety of the Board and Train program.).
- Perform effective training by addressing issues, address undesired behaviors, and achieve wanted behaviors of each dog as outlined by the client and the Head Trainer.
- Conduct between 3-5 lessons per day for each Board and Train dog.
- Adhere to the training schedule recommended by the Head Trainer.
- Feed/clean dogs as required.
- Provide daily pictures/videos/text messages to update the client on the training performed that day and the progress made.
- Provide progress and status updates and report any issues to the Head Trainer.
- Complete and provide all necessary paperwork to the client upon the completion of each Board and Train program.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional training experience.
- Documented success working successfully with dogs with behavioral issues.
- You can professionally and confidently convey the science of dog training to dog owners with little to no knowledge of dog behavior.
- Able to listen and understand the training goals of our clients.
- Able to drive and transport client dogs within the Charlotte area.
What we offer:
$1200 per dog (2-week board and train)
$1600 per dog (3-week board and train)
$50 per supplemental dog training lesson
$2400 - $6400 monthly (based on client demand and availability.
- Staff can board and train as many as three dogs simultaneously. The average staff member will earn $4800 monthly.
