DogTag has been Superior’s boutique dog-care option since 2007, offering dog daycare, boarding, and Puppy Prep School. Our facility is a converted residential home on two acres—not a commercial facility. With four outdoor yards, hand-built wooden kennels, and a team that knows every dog by name, we provide genuinely personal care.
We evaluate every dog before accepting them, stay intentionally selective about who joins, and hand-pick every playgroup. Our goal is simple: provide exceptional, personalized care for every dog in our program.
We’re looking for Part-Time Front Desk Supervisors who love dogs, enjoy working with people, and are confident taking on an on-duty leadership role.
What You’ll Do
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for pet parents while also serving as an on-duty leader for the facility. You will help ensure both exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing pet check-ins and check-outs
- Greeting customers and providing friendly, personalized service
- Answering phones and responding to customer questions
- Making recommendations to enhance each pet’s stay
- Supervising yard staff and providing direction throughout the shift
- Making on-duty supervisor decisions and addressing operational needs as they arise
- Helping ensure staff follow proper procedures and maintain a safe environment
- Communicating effectively with pet parents and team members
- Assisting in the dog yard when needed, including safely handling and interacting with dogs
- Helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional facility
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is confident, dependable, personable, and comfortable taking initiative. Preferred experience includes:
- Customer service or front desk experience
- Dog daycare or pet boarding experience
- Dog handling experience
- Animal behavior knowledge
- Hospitality experience
- Leadership or team-supervision experience
- Ability to make sound decisions independently
- Flexibility to assist with dogs and facility needs when necessary
