Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This position combines hands-on dog-handling responsibilities with shift leadership duties, including front desk operations, facility support, and team guidance. The ideal candidate is confident, dependable, and comfortable managing both dogs and people in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and safely manage groups of dogs during play sessions.
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene appropriately when needed.
- Perform dog handler duties during assigned shifts.
- Lead front desk operations, including customer interactions and check-ins/check-outs.
- Complete runner and facility cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Assist with staff training and daily shift coordination.
- Ensure excellent customer service for pet parents.
- Follow company procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of animal behavior and dog handling.
- Prior kennel experience is an advantage but not required.
- Experience with animal training is a plus.
- Customer service and front desk experience preferred.
- Candidates with basic computer skills or experience with the Moego app.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership experience or willingness to learn shift leadership responsibilities.
- Reliable transportation and consistent access to a safe, insured vehicle.
Schedule
- Morning and afternoon shifts available
- Weekend availability is required, but you will not be working every weekend.
- Facility hours are 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with flexible scheduling
