Client-Facing Bookkeeper (Remote | Part-Time)

- Tiny Paws Bookkeeping is hiring a client-facing remote bookkeeper (U.S. only) to support pet care business owners with accurate books, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.
- We’re looking for someone who loves clean books, kind communication, and helping clients feel more confident about their business. This role includes bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax coordination, and monthly or quarterly client meetings where you’ll explain financial reports in plain language.
- We take our work seriously, but we also like to keep things light. We’re a professional, supportive team that values strong systems, steady communication, and working with good humans.
What you’ll do:
- Work 5–15 hours per week to start
- Schedules may increase based on client demand and individual performance.
- Manage bookkeeping for a growing portfolio of clients
- Handle reconciliations, categorization, cleanup, and month-end close
- Support payroll using Gusto and/or ADP
- Coordinate sales tax payments
- Lead client meetings on Zoom
- Explain the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement clearly
- Work closely with colleagues to support quality and consistency
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience managing multiple clients
- Strong QuickBooks Online skills
- Payroll experience with Gusto and/or ADP
- Experience coordinating sales tax payments
- Strong understanding of financial reports
- Clear, professional communication with clients
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
