About the Role:
We’re looking for an awesome leader with a passion for animals, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to join our team as a Lead Dog Handler. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing our evening team, ensuring that every pet in our care receives top-quality attention and that our facility operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the evening care team to stay on task and complete all assigned duties
- Feed, medicate, and monitor the well-being of dogs and cats in our care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment
- Communicate effectively with management and teammates about animal care needs or issues
- Support and train team members as needed to maintain high standards of care
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in animal care, dog handling, or kennel operations
- Leadership experience and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dependability and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to providing exceptional care and safety for every pet
Schedule:
2 pm to 10 pm Saturday through Wednesday
