Are you an animal lover looking for a fun and flexible way to earn extra income? Our busy pet care facility in Renton is looking for part-time Dog Handlers to join our team! This is a unique, on-call position ideal for college students or anyone seeking a flexible schedule.
About the Role:
As a Dog Handler, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and enriching environment for the dogs in our care. You’ll jump in to support our team on busy days, typically working 4–5 hour shifts as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and safely move dogs between play groups and activities
- Provide one-on-one attention through solo sessions and enrichment add-ons
- Maintain a clean, sanitary environment by assisting with daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks
- Monitor dog behavior and communicate observations to staff
Who We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, flexible, and ready to pitch in when needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Confident and calm around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Previous dog handling or animal care experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
This position does not have a set schedule — we’ll reach out when additional help is needed. Shifts are typically 4–5 hours, and hours may vary each week.
