- All American Pet Resorts operates multiple locations across the US. We have access to education, training, and support that isn’t available at smaller dog daycare facilities.
Position Overview:
- As the Director of Operations, you will oversee the seamless day-to-day operations of our facility.
- This full-time role requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to address emergencies or peak periods, including holidays and weekends.
- You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of care and service, ensuring a positive experience for pets and their owners.
Core Responsibilities:
Facility Oversight:
- Ensure the resort is immaculate and well-maintained.
- Coordinate repairs, manage vendor relations, and anticipate maintenance needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply stock.
- Handle administrative and hands-on issues efficiently.
- Remain on-call for emergencies and disruptions.
Staff Leadership:
- Supervise department leads and support staff.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and seasonal adjustments.
- Address lateness or performance issues promptly.
- Cultivate a professional and supportive workplace culture.
- Promote strong communication across all departments.
Customer Experience:
- Address escalated issues and ensure premium customer service.
- Coach front desk staff on communication and service consistency.
- Represent the resort professionally in all interactions.
Administrative/Financial Duties:
- Collaborate with ownership on financial goals and forecasts.
- Track staff attendance and manage payroll coordination.
- Document personnel issues and manage staff onboarding/exiting processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain a calm and proactive approach in high-pressure situations.
- Align with the Assistant General Manager and department leads for unified leadership.
- Be flexible to assist across departments as needed.
Compensation:
- This role will start at $70,000 annually.
