Dynamic Accounting is a rapidly growing bookkeeping company specializing in construction accounting and advising. We are dedicated to empowering contracting companies by streamlining their bookkeeping processes, clarifying cash flow, optimizing job costing, ensuring financial compliance, and identifying growth barriers. We are seeking an experienced Remote Construction Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for construction clients, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Conduct comprehensive job costing and financial analytics to provide insights into project performance and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
- Assist clients in understanding and managing their cash flow to maintain financial health.
- Collaborate with clients to identify financial blockers and growth opportunities.
- Provide expert advice on construction-specific accounting issues.
- Use QuickBooks Online to its fullest potential, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Coordinate and manage payroll processes efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional client service, acting as a trusted financial advisor.
Qualifications:
- QuickBooks Online Certification is required.
- A minimum of five years of experience with QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred.
- Ten years of overall bookkeeping experience is ideal.
- At least five years of payroll processing experience is required.
- Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction accounting is highly advantageous and will receive special consideration.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong, customer-focused approach.
Schedule:
- Required working hours are Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time. Flexibility beyond these hours is needed to fulfill a full-time schedule.
