- We are hiring both daytime (9am to 6pm, Monday - Thursday) and evening (4pm-10pm Saturday - Wednesday) shifts.

Responsibilities:
Dog Kennel Technician has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Cleaning of dog suites
- Cleaning of cat suites
- Provide feedings and administering medication
- One-on-one playtimes with both dogs and cats
- Monitor play groups for large and small dogs.
- Spot cleaning as needed.
- Daily laundry and other general cleaning duties
- Supervision of small and large dog playgroups separated by size and weight.
- Rotating dogs in play yards.
This position is based on routine. Each day, we feed, medicate, play with individual animals and with dog groups, clean boarding spaces and play areas, and assist each other as needed. It is a physically active role and incredibly rewarding. Compensation:
$18 - $21 / hourly (starting wage is depending on experience)
$1200 - $3400 / monthly
Full-time or part-time work is available. Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week. Some staff members may work up to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:
The Dog Kennel Technicians should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Staff must be consistently available for either a daytime shift (9am-6pm MON-THU) or an evening shift (4pm-10pm SAT-WED).
- We prefer a candidate with prior volunteer/professional experience working with dogs in a group environment, but it is not a requirement.
- Proven team players, problem solvers, and independent thinkers are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent understanding of canine behavior, body language, and group play behavior.
- Candidates who can be leaders and are ready to work hard will be given extra consideration.
- Strong communication skills, working closely with the training department to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs (we have no breed restrictions).
- Awareness and vigilance are critical skills in this role. You may be monitoring up to 30 dogs simultaneously, ensuring safe, monitored play.
- Must be able to be on your feet for up to 4 hours, safely lift 75lbs unassisted, and be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting dirty.
