Walks Wiggles and Wags is the premiere pet care company in most of Morris County and parts of Sussex, Hunterdon, and Somerset counties. We are expanding our team of passionate pet care professionals! We aim to provide our high-end clients with the most professional, safe, and consistent dog walking and pet-sitting services possible. About 95% of our clients are dogs.
Position:
Professional Dog Walker capable of performing the following duties:
- Dog walking (private neighborhood walks, servicing one household at a time).
- Pet sitting (providing overnight pet-sitting services for dogs in clients' homes).
- We service Andover, Bedminster, Budd Lake, Byram, Califon, Chester, Far Hills, Flanders, Hackettstown, Lake Hopatcong, Long Valley, Mendham, Mine Hill, Morris Plains, Morristown, Mount Arlington, Mount Olive, Netcong, Peapack & Gladstone, Pottersville, Randolph, Roxbury, Sparta, Stanhope, Wharton and nearby communities. You will be assigned to work in an area but will not be expected to work in all our service areas.
- Operating hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. We are primarily looking for candidates available for dog walking services from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday. Candidates with early morning, evening, and weekend availability will be considered for pet sitting.
Compensation:
$17 - $22 / hour (starting at $17 per hour with the opportunity for bonuses and client gratuity)
$600 - $2400 / monthly (based on staff availability, performance and client demand)

- Create a safe and positive walking environment for our client's dogs
- Follow the client-provided care instructions, including training preferences
- Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats
- Give our clients first-class customer service with a personal touch
- Communicate with staff and clients via a dedicated app on your modern smartphone
- Contribute to the team effort by working as a team player
- Practice time management to ensure on-time arrivals for all services
- The candidate should have an innate desire to care for animals while ensuring their safety

- Previous professional or volunteer experience with animals is preferred, but a positive attitude and a desire to learn are just as important.
