Schedule
- We would prefer candidates with early morning, midday, late afternoon, and evening availability. This position will require some part-time availability on weekends.
- This position requires consistent availability Monday - Friday from 7am - 2pm.
- This employee will work a guaranteed 35 hours weekly.
- When not providing direct pet care you will be responsible for administrative and/or local marketing tasks
Location
- We are currently hiring a part-time dog walker. The service area is St. Louis City, with a central territory of CWE, Midtown, and Downtown.
- We are also hiring in other areas for additional pet-sitting and dog-walking roles.
- We service St. Louis, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County.
Compensation and Benefits:
$15 - $20 / hour (starting pay)
$2300 - $2800 / month (earnings based on staff member availability, performance, and client demand)

Required Skills and Experience:
- Pet Care Experience - personal, professional, or volunteer experience
- We prefer a candidate with administrative and marketing skills.
- Soft skills will be just as important as dog skills in this particular role.
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of dog breeds and sizes
- Must have recent experience in a demanding, detail-oriented position
- High-level timeliness and accountability
- An eye for detail and a passion for completion
- Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and walk briskly for 30 min at a time.
- Have your own functional and reliable transportation
- Have a modern smartphone capable of running modern iOS or Android software
- Preferred candidates will have experience practicing safety procedures in the workspace

Responsible for the following:
- Providing care to animals (mainly dogs and cats), including walking, feeding, waste removal, medications, and other tasks as needed.
- Administrative and local marketing tasks as assigned by management.
- You may be traveling to drop off marketing materials or conducting marketing meetings in our service area. Some marketing tasks can be performed virtually.
- Communicate with staff, clients, and management via voice, messaging, and email.
- Participates as a team member with company training, education, events, and programs.
- Optional marketing tasks include attending local community events, establishing relationships with apartment and condominium management organizations, connecting with retirement communities, and visiting local retailers, including, but not limited to, pet supply stores, groomers, and veterinarians.
