As a dog walker and pet sitter, you would provide drop-in visits and dog walks for our clients in their homes. There is a lot of variability in our work as every pet and every family has different needs. This role requires a lot of driving, and a varying schedule with no guaranteed hours.

This Position May NOT Be a Good Fit If:

The pets in our care range from healthy dogs, cats, and small pets to those managing chronic health conditions or recovering from surgery. All care is delivered under veterinary trained oversight and so that we can uphold the highest standards of in-home pet care.
This role is rewarding, and it also demands consistency, professionalism, and physical stamina. You will work directly with pets in their own homes and play an important role in giving their owners total peace of mind while they are away.
This is not regular work - you should have a separate reliable source of income.
Requirements:
- Must live in our service area: Mandeville, Covington, Madisonville, Abita Springs, or Lacombe, Louisiana
- Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
- Valid driver's license, a personal vehicle in good working condition, and current auto liability insurance meeting Louisiana minimums (15/30/25), with proof of coverage required before employment and maintained throughout
- Smart phone (unlimited data preferred!)
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Able to pass a background check
