About the Position
My Pet Garden is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Doggy Daycare Attendant to join our team! If you love working with dogs and cats and enjoy staying active in a fun, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for dogs and cats in a safe, clean, and positive environment
- Feed pets and ensure they receive proper daily care
- Administer medications as directed
- Monitor animal behavior and well-being
- Play, exercise, and socialize pets
- Clean kennels, play areas, and other facility spaces
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and animal safety at all times
Qualifications
- Experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, kennel, or similar setting preferred
- Strong dog handling skills and knowledge of animal behavior
- Experience with animal training or dog training is a plus
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and stay active throughout the shift
Schedule
- Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Overnight shifts are available seven days a week.
- Most shifts are 5 hours long but some may be up to 8 hours long
