Maximum Canine is seeking reliable, motivated people with hands-on dog-care experience who are eager to keep learning. Experience in boarding, daycare, veterinary care, training, grooming, shelters, or rescue is strongly preferred.
This is more than a kennel position. You’ll work in a professional dog training and wellness facility alongside experienced trainers, gaining exposure to dogs of different breeds, temperaments, and training levels. As an attendant, you’ll have opportunities to learn and grow with an award-winning, established leader in the dog training industry—with paid training, mentorship, and potential advancement.
Maximum Canine offers programs in training, boarding, canine fitness, grooming, nutrition, scent work, agility, and more. Depending on your interests and available opportunities, you may explore paths in dog training, day camp, facility leadership, grooming, nutrition and fitness, customer service, operations, marketing, or working-dog programs.
What you’ll do
- Safely handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments
- Feed, walk, and care for dogs according to individual instructions
- Monitor and report changes in behavior or health
- Clean and maintain kennels, crates, training areas, and shared spaces
- Follow safety, sanitation, feeding, and handling procedures
- Support trainers and teammates with daily operations
This hands-on, physically active role requires care, organization, and attention to detail.
What we’re looking for
- Previous hands-on dog-care experience
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Interest in canine care, behavior, training, or the dog industry
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and follow established systems
- Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and reliable transportation to Deer Park
Dog-training experience is a plus, especially for those interested in a future training career.
