Job Details
- Position: Part-Time Dog Daycare Supervisor
- Location: Hilton Head Island — must be available to work at both Evergreen Pet Lodge locations as needed
- Hours: 25–30 hours per week
- Days: Sunday–Saturday (role requires availability across all days; schedule will include weekends and holidays)
- Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, Evening (flexible shift assignments)
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kennel and daycare operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and smooth workflow across shifts
- Supervise and mentor staff; manage staffing coverage and maintain operational KPIs and benchmarks
- Monitor animal behavior and welfare; intervene appropriately to maintain a safe environment
- Handle animal check-ins/check-outs, administer medications accurately, and maintain precise records
- Provide excellent customer service at the front desk and by phone; communicate clearly with pet owners about care and policies
- Support boarding, grooming, and sales efforts as needed; assist with pet food and product recommendations
- Enforce facility policies and safety protocols; respond effectively to emergencies
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in dog daycare, boarding, pet sitting, or related animal care roles; previous supervisory or staff management experience preferred
- Strong dog handling skills and knowledge of animal behavior; certified training or relevant coursework is a plus
- Solid customer service and front desk experience; comfortable with sales and client communication
- Ability to administer medications and maintain accurate medical and behavioral records
- Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and maintain high standards of care and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and comfortable working weekends and holidays
- Must have consistent access to a safe, insured, and reliable vehicle to travel between locations
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $21–$23 per hour (depending on experience and performance)
- Part-Time, 25–30 hours weekly
