About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Receptionist with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, enjoys building genuine connections with both clients and coworkers, and is excited to take on new challenges. This position offers strong growth potential, with opportunities to develop into a leadership role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage phone calls and reservations with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
- Check guests in and out; process payments efficiently and accurately
- Maintain accurate records for each pet
- Assist with dog handling and transport within the facility
- Occasionally assist with pet pick-up/drop-off
- Deliver a high-quality, upscale customer experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional care
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Front desk or receptionist experience preferred
- Background in pet care (daycare, grooming, walking) is a plus
- Comfortable with data entry and Google Docs
- Sales awareness and ability to meet KPIs
- Driving experience (van driving is a plus)
- Highly organized, adaptable, and a self-starter who embraces new challenges
- Must love dogs and enjoy working closely with people
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Comfortable occasionally assisting with picking up/dropping off pets from the facility

Schedule:
- Availability required Sunday through Saturday
- Morning and evening shifts
- At least one weekend day required (preferably Sunday)
- Weekly schedules are published on Thursdays and may vary
Pay & Benefits:
- $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
- $2,160 – $3,840 per month
