About The Position
LaBest Pet Resort & Spa is looking for friendly, dependable, and organized individuals to join our team as Front Desk Receptionists. This role is perfect for someone who loves both people and pets and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
As the first point of contact for our clients, our front desk team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for pet parents while helping ensure the smooth daily operation of the resort.
Schedule
- We have shifts available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Reception staff must be available to work between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, including Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm, friendly attitude
- Answer phones and assist customers with reservations and questions
- Check pets in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and spa services
- Provide clear communication to clients about services and schedules
- Maintain accurate records using computer systems
- Support daily front desk operations and keep the reception area organized
- Assist with light pet handling, such as guiding dogs to designated areas when needed
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is professional, dependable, and great with customers. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Previous front desk or reception experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable handling and walking dogs when necessary
- A positive attitude and willingness to help the team
