CJ's Canine Country in Findlay, OH, is actively seeking a dog-loving and compassionate Full-time Pack Leader to play a vital role in the success of our multi-purpose facility. (Doggie Daycare, Grooming, Training, Boarding)
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of dog suites
- Provide potty breaks
- One-on-one playtimes with both dogs
- Laundry and other general cleaning duties
- Supervision of dog playgroups
- Perform closing duties at the end of each shift
Schedule:
- Start with an exciting six-day schedule: Monday through Friday, consisting of a variety of the following hours, which can change daily. Either 6-2 pm, 8 am-4 pm, or 11-6:30 pm. Weekends, at least one shift 7-10/11 am, 12-3/4 pm, 5-7 pm, either Saturday or Sunday, and transition to a five-day workweek, including one weekend day, once fully staffed.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Understanding of canine behavior, body language, and group play behavior.
- Strong communication skills, able to work closely with the training department to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs.
- Must be able to be on your feet for long shifts, safely lift 50lbs unassisted, and be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting dirty.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
