We are a dog daycare and overnight care business dedicated to providing top-notch care for 20 years! We don't just sit around with the dogs; we train, play engaging games and do what it takes to make the dog's experience the best it can be. With our , our handlers have the time to shower each dog with the attention he deserves in a safe environment.
As a valued member of our team, your primary responsibility as a dog handler will be to oversee and engage with groups of off-leash dogs. We thoroughly train our staff in dog behavior and play group management, as well as basic dog training skills. Are you already a master at managing play groups? Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor dog playgroups while ensuring a fun safe enviroment
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment (kennels, training room, retail, etc.) for dogs and staff
- Other tasks around the facility as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a passion for dogs
- Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be legally available to work in the US
- Must be able to take direction and handle constructive criticism for your safety and well-being, as well as the safety and well-being of staff, customers, and dogs within our care
- Must be able to report to work on time in all weather conditions
- Comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dog as well as working in loud environments with dog waste, odor and dog hair
- Must have weekend/holiday availability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling dogs with different types of temperaments
Schedule:
Full and part-time positions are available. We require at least 15 hours per week.
We have available shifts 7 days per week: 6:30am - 1:15pm; 12:00pm - 6:30pm; 6:30pm - 9:30pm.
Compensation:
- Starting pay is $16 per hour.
