We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animals and enjoy spending time outdoors while providing excellent care to our furry clients.
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each dog in your care
- Provide fresh water and food as needed during walks
- Clean up after dogs during walks
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pets
- Report any health or behavioral concerns to the pet owner or supervisor
Do You?
- Have experience caring for your own pets or others’ pets?
- Have a flexible schedule and can work on short notice?
- Want to earn starting at $17.25/hr, plus tips, paid drive time, and tax-free gas reimbursement at $0.70 per mile?
- Qualify for a split shift bonus of $17.25 for working both mornings and evenings?
- Want to work 10-20 hours per week?
- Have a reliable car with current insurance, license, and registration?
- Own a smartphone with a large data plan?
Are You?
- Physically fit to walk at least 5 miles per day?
- Comfortable driving 30+ miles a day?
- Capable of handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, including big, untrained dogs?
- Willing to take online courses in animal behavior, CPR, and First Aid?
- Available to work during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks (6-hour shifts required)?
- Open to working a split shift (7:30 AM-10 AM & 5 PM-8 PM), or (9 AM-3 PM) Monday to Friday? We require candidates to work at least four days per week.
- Comfortable with cleaning litter boxes, cages, pee pads, and backyard waste?
