Cubby’s Canine Castle is a leader in the dog daycare industry, and we are now expanding our team! We are members of the Dog Handler Academy, and the International Boarding & Pet Services Association. We are a professional animal care operator with CPACO, and voted Reader’s Choice, the Best of Montco in 2023. We seek a dedicated, full-time Assistant Manager to join our esteemed management team. Established in 2006, we are a full-service doggie daycare that creates a fun and safe environment for our canine clients living in Montgomery County. Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7:15 PM.
Most weeks the assistant manager will be scheduled for 35-40 hours but overtime may be available based on client demand.
Includes some holidays, as we operate 365 days a year. Holidays represent increased client demand for boarding services.
Flexibility is required to cover shifts as needed.

Job Duties:

Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality care for our canine clients.
Supervise and develop staff, fostering a welcoming, learning environment that promotes overall growth.
Onboard new team members and conduct performance reviews.
Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct facility inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety.
Manage client relationships, new client onboarding, and inquiries.
Provide behavioral updates and discuss challenges with clients.
Support team activities as needed, including checking dogs in/out, administering medication, providing feedings, and maintaining the facility.

Requirements:

We would prefer five years of staff management and/or kennel experience.
Experience managing teams of five or more.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Drive.
Attention to detail and the ability to proactively address obstacles
Experience in dog daycare, kennel management, or the hospitality industry
Work from our location at 1265 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

Salary and Benefits:

$21 per hour
$2900-$3400 per month (based on client demand)
