Job Details:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable mid-day dog walkers to join our team and perform neighborhood dog walks in small groups.
Our clients are located in and around Capitol Hill, including the H St/Atlas District and the Navy Yard.
Staff must have consistent access to a bicycle, scooter or safe, reliable and insured vehicle to quickly and safely travel from one client residence to another.
Conducting safe and enjoyable dog walks in small groups.
Managing multiple dogs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Utilizing our advanced pet care software for scheduling and communication.
Providing excellent customer service to clients.

Job Requirements:

Comfortable handling and managing multiple dogs simultaneously (Up to 3).
Physically fit to walk dogs for extended periods outside during all four seasons.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A genuine passion for animals and animal advocacy.
Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
Availability from 10am to 4pm, Monday - Friday.

Ideal Candidate:

This job is perfect for individuals with flexible schedules, such as stay-at-home parents, freelancers, college students with flexible classes, retirees, or those working part-time in the evening.
Candidates with prior professional or volunteer experience will be given strong consideration.

Compensation:

$20 an hour on average
$2500 to start, based on client demand.
